Is the subject of man’s “free” will in relation to God’s absolute sovereignty a doctrinal dilemma? Philippians 2:13 says "For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." Some have argued that man can make choices but does not have the free will to do what he pleases. And furthermore that We (mankind) never have been, and we never will be, able to circumvent or subvert in any way, shape, or manner, the will of almighty God.
According to Romans 9 vs 18, 19 & 16, God’s choices are greater than ours. Nothing that has happened or will ever happen can be without his knowledge and determination. God knowingly determines and determinedly knows every choice we will ever make. If this is true, why does He hold us accountable for the choices He(we) makes? Do you think God is unfair to will over every of his creation and yet have us take responsibility for the choices we make and the eventual outcome?
